John Lasko

John Lasko is a morning anchor at WJAC.

John comes to WJAC from WSBT, our Sinclair sister station in South Bend, Indiana, where he anchored the weekend and served as the back-up anchor for weekday newscasts for both WNWO NBC 24 in Toledo, Ohio and FOX56 WOLF in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for more than four years.

John has also been an anchor and reporter for stations in Cleveland, OH, Scottsbluff, NE and St. Joseph, MO. He was also a print journalist for two newspapers in northeast Ohio for a little over two years as well.

John was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where all his family still lives and works.

When John is not on the anchor desk, you can find him watching and playing baseball, trying new restaurants, watching the Guardians, Browns and Cavs, hitting the road exploring the towns of southwest Pennsylvania, while also spending time with family.
