Dillon joined 6 News as a reporter in December of 2016 after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia.

During college, Dillon was a special investigative correspondent, reporter and anchor for the campus TV station, Grady Newsource. He also spent a year running production for that station. Dillon worked as a news intern at WMAZ in Macon, Ga., and was recognized by his college for the work he did there. He’s also been recognized with other scholarships and awards for his reporting, including placing in the top 20 in the 2016 Hearst Journalism Awards TV Features Competition.

A Florida native, Dillon’s family moved to Georgia after a 5-year stint in southeast Michigan. Dillon is excited to be back up north, particularly because his father is a huge Steelers fan originally from Weirton, W. Va. Apart from constantly reading and watching the news, Dillon enjoys running and traveling. He even spent a summer studying abroad in Seville, Spain.
