Bree Guy began her career with WJAC 6 news team in December 2018 as the weekend meteorologist.
Bree grew up just an hour and a half away in Pittsburgh. She graduated high school in 2014 from Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts School 6-12, where she majored in theater.
Bree is a proud Nittany Lion and graduated from Pennsylvania State University in December of 2018, where she majored in Meteorology with a minor in theater performance.
While in college, Bree was a student volunteer for the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh and interned for CBS 2/WLNY TV in New York, New York. She also was a part of the Penn State Meteorology Department’s student run show Weather or Not.
Bree became a “weather weenie” in 7th grade after watching a video about Tornadoes in science class. She enjoys helping people and wishes to better communicate with and prepare the public for weather events.
