Michael Phelps calls out Olympics reporter for Steelers gear

Michael Phelps put the love for his hometown on full display during a press conference in Rio.

The Olympic gold medalists noticed a reporter in Pittsburgh Steelers gear and started to crack some jokes.

“Is that a Steelers…oh man, golly,” Phelps said as he looked away.

Phelps immediately turned his attention to another reporter in the room who was wearing Baltimore Ravens gear.

A big smile swept across the swimmer's face when he saw a fellow Ravens fan in the room.

He continued to joke about the subject even more when another reporter asked about the known rivalry between the teams.

“I always think we’re going to beat Pittsburgh, that’s the obvious answer. I think one of the cool things about that is we always play each other really hard. As much as I’m not a Steelers fan, the games are really exciting, we get a lot of intense hits,” Phelps said.

We'll see about that! The two teams are expected to play each other on Nov. 6.
