H.S. Roundup 1-28: five boy's basketball games highlight Monday's local slate

A capacity crowd was on hand to watch Johnstown secure a road win in the city game at Bishop McCort Monday (WJAC).

Starting in the LHAC, on the boy's hardwood, the Richland Rams ran away from Cambria Heights for a home win Monday.

Forest Hills kept up the momentum from last week's defeat of Johnstown, defeating Penn Cambria at home.

In the city game, Bishop McCort played the road Trojans tough, but Johnstown picked up the win in this rivalry showdown.

In the WestPAC, Shade handed Shanksville-Stonycreek its first loss of the season in front of a packed house at Shade high school. Also in the WestPAC, Blacklick Valley upset Conemaugh township, and in the win senior Jude Gdula netted 22 points giving him 1,000 for his career with the Vikings.

Hollidaysburg defeated winless Mifflin County at home Monday night to round up the busy night of area hoops.
