SCRANTON, Pa. - President Donald Trump took to Twitter before his arrival in the Pennsylvania Thursday.

"Pennsylvania has to love Trump because unlike all of the others before me, I am bringing STEEL BACK in a VERY BIG way," tweeted the president.

Trump is coming to the Commonwealth to campaign on behalf of Republican Lou Barletta, who is running for the U.S. Senate against incumbent Bob Casey.

"Will be campaigning hard for an original supporter, Lou Barletta, to replace a weak an ineffective Senator, Bob Casey," Trump tweeted.

This isn't the first time the president has publicly endorsed Barletta and criticized Casey.

President Trump's visit comes two days after Sen. Casey was the lone lawmaker not invited to a signing for a bill that he had co-authored.
