2 teens killed as 98-year-old drives on wrong side of the road
FORT PIERCE, Fla. (WPEC) - A deadly crash has shut down the eastbound lanes of Okeechobee Road by Midway Road.
Two teenagers were killed in the accident after a 98 -year-old man was driving on the wrong side of the road, says a release by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred just west of Midway Road.

Santia Myriah Feketa, 18, of Fort Pierce, and Britney Lee Poindexter, 17, of Port St. Lucie, died in the crash, according to a release.
Walter Arther Roney, 98, of Dearborn, Michigan, was identified as the driver by FHP. In the passenger seat was Caroyln Elizabeth-Evans Burns, 75, of Brighton, Michigan.
The crash, which happened around 7:10 p.m., remains under investigation.
