Transitional housing facility opens in Somerset Co.
SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) —
Trinity Farms Center for healing in Somerset County has opened its first transitional housing facility:, the Micah House.
The organization's mission is to help people re-entering the community after hardships like recovering from addiction or getting out of jail.
The Micah House will be a housing facility for men on the Boswell property and can have up to four residents, plus a mentor.
The men living in the house will help with the remainder of the repairs and work at the center’s farm.
The goal is to teach them valuable life skills that will make transitioning into the community easier.
Anyone interested in living at the house must fill out an application and interview.
The organization is also currently renovating a women's facility - Hope House.
