Tractor-trailer hauling horses on I-80 catches fire


COOPER TOWNSHIP -- One person was injured in a tractor-trailer fire on I-80 Monday night.

Clearfield County dispatch said the tractor-trailer was hauling horses when it suddenly caught fire.

They said it happened around 1:15 a.m. between mile marker 137 and 138 near Cooper Township.

Dispatch said one person was injured when they were kicked by one of the horses.

The extent of that person's injuries is unknown.

Dispatch said traffic was down to one lane around mile marker 133, but it is now back to normal.
