Police: Woman charged after going more than 80 mph over speed limit
EAST TAYLOR TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) - Police said a Nanty Glo woman has been charged after she was caught driving more than 120 mph on William Penn Avenue on Saturday in Cambria County.
Erika Law, 22, has been charged with fleeing from police, careless driving and reckless driving.
According to police, an officer spotted Law driving on William Penn Avenue going more than 120 mph. Police said they tried to pull the vehicle over, but Law did not comply.
According to police, Law eventually pulled over, and when she was asked why she was going 120 mph in a 35 mph zone, she said she was late getting home.
Law has a preliminary hearing scheduled for July 16.
