Police seek to identify man in Santa hat who injured another man with knife

STATE COLLEGE – State College police are attempting to identify a man wearing a Santa hat who is accused of injuring another man with a knife during a fight Sunday.

Police said they responded to a fight at 1:40 a.m. Sunday involving three men in front of the Sheetz convenience store, located at 129 South Pugh Street.

The suspect male fled before the police arrived.

The two other men reported a white, college-aged man, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with brown hair and wearing a red Santa hat and red sweater, confronted the victims and became aggressive.

The suspect brandished a knife, but was disarmed during the struggle.

Police said that they later learned one of the men suffered a knife injury and was taken to the Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment.

The suspect sustained a left eye injury, and is believed to have red and swollen or black eye sustained during the struggle.
