The Upper Yoder Township Police Department has just released pictures of a man they say has been approaching businesses and people on the street and frantically asking them for money.

Chief Donald Hess says this man has told "several different hard luck stories" that are not true in order to get money.

Hess says the man has been doing this for "several months" in the Johnstown area and in Westmoreland County, and says this man's behavior has become more brash.

Police have released a picture they say the man was driving at some point during the incidents, and there are reports of him currently driving a Jeep.

Hess says a second person could be involved.

Officers say if you see him or have any information, to call 911 immediately.
