Police: Man shot in the eye outside Johnstown bar
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) —
A shooting outside a Johnstown bar left three men injured, including a man shot in the face and eye.
According to Johnstown police, a group of people got into a verbal argument in the parking lot of a bar along Horner and Golde streets just before 3 a.m. Saturday.
The incident report states the suspect left the bar after the argument and then returned with a high caliber weapon and started shooting at the men involved in the argument.
One man, 32, was shot in the face and eye, according to the report. He was transported by Life Flight to Pittsburgh. The second man, 35, was shot in the arm and abdomen, and the third man, 54, was shot in the Achilles tendon, according to police.
All three men have been released from the hospital, police said.
Officers are looking for the suspect, who is described as a black man last seen driving a 2010 gray Mazda sedan with New Jersey registration A42KAE. Police consider him armed and dangerous.
"We are actively investigating this incident and are hopeful to make an arrest in the next few days," said Chief Bob Johnson.
