Police: Driver facing multiple citations after hitting school bus, causing minor injuries
ANTIS TWP. -- State Police said a car and school bus carrying 28 elementary students were involved in an accident Monday morning.
According to police, the car rear-ended the bus as it was stopped with its red lights activated shortly before 9 a.m.
Multiple students received minor injuries and were taken to Myers Elementary School, where they were evaluated, police said.
All students were held at the school, but was none was taken to the hospital.
The accident happened on East Pleasant Valley Blvd. near the Sheetz convenience store in Bellwood.
Police said the driver of the car was at fault and will receive multiple citations, including driving under suspension.
