Police: 3 charged after meth lab discovered in Bellefonte
BELLEFONTE, Pa. - Three Bellefonte residents are facing charges after police said they discovered a meth lab.
Alyssa McKinley, 24, Joseph Grassmyer, 46, and Sandra Conklin, 49, have been charged with operating a meth lab, possession of items with intent to manufacture a controlled substance and manufacture with intent to delivery.
According to police, an officer was on patrol May 21 around 6 p.m. on Dublinwood Drive and spotted McKinley, who was wanted, entered a home.
According to the complaint, the officer spoke with Conklin, who owns the home and said McKinley was inside and gave the officer permission to enter the home to retrieve her.
Once inside the home, police said the officer saw Grassmyer in the home, along with numerous items of drug paraphernalia, and requested and obtained a search warrant.
During the search, officers recovered numerous drugs and paraphernalia and a "one pot" meth lab, according to the complaint.
All three suspects are in the Centre County Correctional Facility on $100,000 bail and have hearings set for May 30.
