Over 700 to be affected by scheduled power outage in Jefferson Co.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) —
Over 700 people in Jefferson County will be without power Tuesday morning for about an hour, according to a Penelec spokesperson.
Penelec says the power outage, scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and end at 10 a.m., will primarily affect Sykesville, some customers in Luthersburg and those outside of DuBois, but not the city of DuBois.
According to Penelec, crews will be working on a substation in Sykesville and changing fuses to prevent further outages.
The spokesman said those who will be affected have received a phone call.
