MORRIS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) —
A family lost their home Saturday after a fire spread out through the house in Clearfield County.
The fire happened on Pine Street in Morris Township and started a little after 2 p.m.
Two people were inside the home at the time and were taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
Numerous fire crews worked for hours on the flames, which were inside the house on both floors.
The fire spread through most of the house as fire crews worked, and the roof collapsed.
According to officials, not many fire hydrants are in the area so tankers needed to be called in.
The two people injured are expected to recover. The house is a complete loss, officials said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
