Johnstown woman accused of lighting boyfriend's clothes on fire, swinging knife at him
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - A Johnstown woman has been charged with arson after a dispute at Oakhurst Homes.
Dominque Ingram, 27, has been charged with arson, risking a catastrophe and recklessly endangering another person.
Police said they responded to Oakhurst Homes for a report of a man stabbing a woman.
When they arrived, officers spotted a car and clothing on fire.
According to the complaint, officers encountered Ingram, who had a swollen right eye and was bleeding from her nose after she said she was attacked by her boyfriend, Farrar Banks.
Police interviewed a witness who said Banks came to Ingram's apartment to get clothing, and when he arrived, she lit his clothes on fire, grabbed a knife and swung it at Banks, cutting him on his arms.
The complaint said Banks swung at Ingram to defend himself, hit her in the face and fled the area. Banks was not located. Ingram is in the Cambria County Prison on $25,000 bail.
