Harrisburg murder suspect arrested in Centre County

A Centre County man was arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in Harrisburg, according to police.

Harrisburg police said 20-year-old Dylan Reeves was arrested Tuesday afternoon in State College after being identified as a possible suspect in the case.

Police said a body was discovered Tuesday morning along the railroad tracks in the Greenbelt area near the Susquehanna River.

They said the victim, 21-year-old Daniel Kelly, died of multiple stab wounds.

Through their investigation, police identified Reeves as a possible suspect, and determined that he had ties to the State College area.

State College police were able to locate Reeves and take him into custody. They said he was also wanted in Centre County for a probation detainer.

Police said Reeves will be transported to Dauphin County to be arraigned on multiple charges, including murder, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.
