Elk County DA to run for office of president judge
ELK COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) —
Elk County District Attorney Shawn McMahon is running for the office of president judge of the court of common pleas.
McMahon announced his candidacy for the 59th Judicial District Tuesday in a press release.
The judge of that district serves Elk and Cameron counties.
The seat was recently vacated by Richard Masson who became a senior judge on Jan. 1.
According to McMahon, he was born and raised in Ridgway and has been practicing law since 2004.
