Emergency crews responded to an ambulance that caught fire Thursday morning in Johnstown. (WJAC)

Emergency crews responded to an ambulance that caught fire Thursday morning in Johnstown.

The vehicle caught fire at Hickory Street and Franklin Street around 9:30 a.m.

One person was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center for treatment.

Officials haven’t said if that person was transported for injuries suffered in the fire.

A cause of the fire hasn’t been released.
