Altoona man gets 40 months in prison for possessing child pornography
JOHNSTOWN -- An Altoona man was sentenced to 40 months in prison Thursday after being convicted on federal child pornography possession charges.
In addition to his sentence, Timothy Hufford, 56, is required to register as a sex offender and will be placed on supervised release for life.
According to court testimony, Hufford was found in possession of the material on Aug. 18, 2015. Investigators said Hufford possessed videos and pictures showing minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
Hufford entered a guilty plea to the charge back in March.
