1 person taken to hospital after house fire in Holsopple
HOLSOPPLE, Pa. - Numerous fire crews from Cambria and Somerset counties are on scene of a house fire in Holsopple Tuesday.
According to dispatch, a fire broke out at a home on Mars Lane just before noon.
Dispatch officials said a person was trapped in the house, but was able to escape with the help of Conemaugh Township police.
The person was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Hospital by EMS and has since been released.
Officials also said a Jerome fire truck got stuck on a bridge while responding to the fire.
Fire crews were on scene for several hours and said the home is total loss.
