Fur-ever Friends: Adoptable pets available March 12, 2019

Teddy is patiently waiting at the Humane Society of Cambria County to find a family to love him.

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) - We're helping you find your "Fur-ever Friends" on 6 News at Sunrise with a new segment we are starting!

On the second Tuesday of every month, we are bringing an cat or dog live on the show and showcasing other adoptable pets across our area.

For our first time, Jessica Vamos, the executive director at the Humane Society of Cambria County brought a dog named Teddy. He is 12-years old and looking for a home. He is handsome, well-mannered and sweet. He is good with other dogs and cats.

Legion is a beautiful dog at the Humane Society of Somerset County. He had a rough past, he was found with a cable attached to his collar outside of a farmer's market and another dog bit him. He's been waiting for 6 months to find his fur-ever home! Legion is 5 or 6 years old and loves stuffed animals and holds them when he goes to sleep! He hopes to find his human to give him cuddles. Princess Twinkle Toes is a beautiful cat at the Huntingdon County Humane Society. Princess, for short, was sadly left in a dog crate at the animal shelter. The caring staff was able to save her and give her the care she needed! She loves to sit near humans and would make the perfect addition to any family!
