Lucas' 23 leads Lady Lions past Purdue 75-72

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) -- Maggie Lucas had 23 points and Ariel Edwards added 21 as No. 12 Penn State avenged its lone Big Ten loss by beating No. 19 Purdue 75-72 Thursday night.

Penn State led 70-63 with 3:07 to go, but a 9-4 run by the Boilermakers cut the deficit to 74-72.
