Weather in Johnstown caused multi-vehicle accident

By: WJAC Web Staff

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. -- Another round of heavy snow dumped across the region Friday night into Saturday.

The latest system caused some boroughs and townships to declare a snow emergency.

The weather was to blame for a multi-vehicle accident on Route 56 in Johnstown Saturday.

Four cars were involved in the crash but no one was seriously injured.

The Johnstown Fire Department and city police had to close Route 56 until a truck could salt the roadway.
