Plans for Centre County VA outpatient clinic discussed

By: Lauren Hensley

COLLEGE TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- There were more questions than answers after engineers presented plans for a new Veterans Outpatient Clinic in Centre County.

At the College Township Planning Commission meeting Tuesday night there was no vote on moving forward with the project because officials believed there were just too many unanswered questions with the plans. Some of those questions included the public access to sidewalks at the location and access to public transportation.

The plan calls for the clinic to be built on Clyde Avenue. The commission is expected to vote on a development plan in February.
