Police: An investigation of arson and theft are in progress

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa -- Police said an investigation of arson and theft are in progress.

It was reported that sometime between Friday, Dec. 13 at approximately 2 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 16 at approximately 8:30 a.m. an arson and theft took place in Greenfield Township at a logging site in the area between Left Hand Gap Road and Knob Road.

A 2007 Honda Foreman Four Wheeler 500cc, camouflage in color, was taken along with an air compressor, a generator, and various logging tools and equipment.

A total of nearly $10,000 worth of equipment was stolen and a box trailer valued at approximately $5,000 was then set on fire and destroyed.

Anyone with information is requested to contact the Greenfield Township Police Department at 814-329-5313 or on the Southern Blair County Law Enforcement Facebook Page.

Total loss during the incident is approximately $15,000.
