Book to bring back the Old Glosser Brother department memories

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. -- A longtime Johnstown establishment is having a tribute paid to it with a new holiday book.

The author of Christmas at Glossers, Robert Jeschonek, covers the old Glosser Brothers department store.

Jeschonek said he wanted to bring back the fond memories of the store because it closed back in 1989.

Currently there are e-book and paperback versions available.

Jeschonek said the renowned store was a regional attraction for people to get their Christmas shopping done.

"I wanted to try and bring some of that magic from Christmas when I was a little boy," said Jeschonek. "Share some of the experience of being a part of the Glossers."

An audiobook is also on the way.

You can order a paperback copy by going at Amazon or Barnes and Noble website.

You can also order one from Books A Million in the Galleria Mall.
