Suspicious car leads to drug bust

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa.-- Police said it was neighbors who saw the car and questioned what was going on inside.

Some of the residents noticed two females got out of the vehicle in the early morning and urinated in the woods, said Spring Township Police Chief Michael Danneker.

That is not something people in Spring Township are used to seeing, so the neighbors called police.

Police said when they arrived they could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle and after getting a search warrant they said they found much more.

Heroin, needles and baggies, said Danneker.

Police said they arrested driver Craig Stickles from Colorado, who through their investigation they found is on parole from his home state for vehicular homicide.

Police said two other people in the car were also taken into custody.

Its a nice neighborhood, it increases risk for other crimes when they are looking for money, said Danneker.

Police said charges are pending on people in the vehicle.
