Family of wounded trooper thanks public for support

By: WJAC Web Staff

The family of a Pennsylvania state trooper seriously wounded in a shooting Thursday in Jefferson County is thanking the public for its thoughts and prayers.

A family member posted on that the road to recovery for Trooper Bradley Wilson will be long, but said there are small miracles every day.

Wilson was shot while trying to serve a warrant at the home of Kenneth Lees Sr., near Brockway. Lees then barricaded himself inside his home before taking his own life.
