Police arrest one man after home invasion in Lawrence Twp.

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. --

Police in Clearfield County arrest one man they said is responsible for a home invasion Friday night.

Lawrence Township Police said Ned Caldwell, III of Dubois is facing burglary and aggravated assault charges. They said on Friday night around 8:30, he broke into a home in the Glen Richey area.

A man and woman were inside and ran upstairs. Police said Caldwell broke through the door and threatened the two with a gun, before the homeowner hit Caldwell over the head with a baseball bat.

Caldwell was found in Dubois and taken to jail on $100,000 bond.
