Police: Man charged after drunken fight with ATM

by WJAC Web Staff

CLAYSBURG, Pa. -- Forget the Mayweather/Canelo match this weekend, what could be one of the best "fights" this year already went down in Blair County.

In one corner: an Imler man; in the other: an ATM.

According to troopers at the Hollidaysburg State Police barracks, Robert Parks, 43, became extremely angry when the First Commonwealth Bank ATM in Claysburg "refused to return his bank card."

A police release indicates Parks "started yelling and shouting at [the machine]."

Police say Parks was drunk at the time.

He's facing pubic drunkenness charges.

The ATM has not been charged with any wrongdoing.
