Westmont crash kills one man

JOHNSTOWN, Pa.

Police said a violent, single car crash claimed the life of one man early Sunday morning in Cambria County.

Sources told 6 News the man is the owner of a Johnstown area business.

The Cambria County coroner's office says 44-year-old Jamey Petrick was riding in the car on Emmett Drive off of Goucher Street when it hit a tree at about 1:30 Sunday morning.  

Police said it hit on the passengers side.

The coroner said the woman driving that car was taken to the hospital.

No word on her condition.

Petrick owns Petrick Automotive Repair on Ferndale Avenue in Johnstown.
