Two face federal charges for meth lab near school

Two people from Somerset are facing federal charges in connection to a meth bust in January.

Justin Carr and Samantha McKenzie are charged with operating a meth lab in their apartment which, police said, was just 200-yards from the Somerset High School.

According to the attorney general's office, the pair was caught with more than 500-grams of meth they intended to sell.

The pair is facing a life sentence, fines up to $10-million, or both.
