MILES TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- State police said one person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in rural Centre County on Christmas Eve.

State police at Rockview said Ethan Wolfe, 22, of Centre Hall, died as a result of the crash that happened on Route 192 (Brush Valley Road) about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Miles Township.

Police said Wolfe was a passenger in a Jeep Liberty being driven by Joshua Manning, 24, of Rebersburg, when Manning lost control on the icy roadway and collided head-on with truck that was heading in the opposite direction.

Manning and his other two passengers, Abby Emmert, 23, and Melanie Manning, 22, both of Rebersburg, suffered minor injuries in the crash, police said.

Police said the driver of the truck, Gerald Corl, 47, of Bellefonte, suffered minor injuries.

Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers said Wolfe died at the scene as a result of head trauma.
