State suspends Johnstown doctor's medical license

By: WJAC Web Staff
JOHNSTOWN, Pa.

State officials have suspended a Johnstown-area physician's medical license for what "may be a clear danger to public health and safety."

Federal agents raided the Geistown offices of Dr. Glenn Davis, reported over his aggressive use of restricted medications like oxycodone to relieve chronic pain.

Davis' medical license was temporarily suspended by the state a month ago and will remain suspended pending a hearing into his case.

As of Thursday, a hearing date had not been set. Stay with 6 News and WJACTV.com for continuing coverage.
