EAST PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A truck carrying steel coils overturned on a sharp highway ramp in Bedford County, officials said.

State police at Everett said the tractor-trailer turned onto its side about 10 a.m. Monday on the connector ramp from the Pennsylvania Turnpike interchange to Route 30 west in Breezewood, East Providence Township.

Police said the driver, Oleg Stratan, 26, of Mountlake, Wash., suffered minor injuries in the crash and will be cited for speeding. The truck was hauling 52,000 pounds of steel coils.

A lane of Route 30 and the ramp were partially blocked while crews worked to upright to truck, officials said.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
