Altoona Police find $4,000 worth of heroin after traffic stop


Altoona police found $4,000 worth of heroin after a traffic stop Saturday morning.

Just before 3 a.m., police said they stopped a Mazda that had code violations.

Steven Hall, Jr. was the only one in the car and police said upon searching it they found 160 packets of heroin and a small amount of marijuana.

Police said it was about six grams of heroin. Hall was taken to the county jail.
