Fire causes $100K in damage to Cambria Co. house

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. --

Quick reactions from neighbors helped save a Cambria County house from a fire Saturday afternoon.

It happened on Spruce Street in Sankertown Borough just about 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Fire crews said it started in the kitchen area, but aren't sure exactly what caused it.

No one was home at the time. The fire chief said there was about $100,000 in damage. No one was hurt.
