JOHNSTOWN, Pa. --

Officials are continuing to investigate after two people were found shot to death Wednesday inside a Johnstown home.

Police had not released much information as of Thursday morning, but authorities said they believe this is an isolated incident.

Cambria County Coroner Dennis Kwiatkowski said the bodies were found by two of the victims' friends shortly after 9 a.m.

"Right now, it's just the start of the investigation ... very preliminary," Kwiatkowski said. "That's all I can tell you right now."

The Pennsylvania State Police Crime Unit is working on the investigation.

According to documents, one of the people who found the bodies was taken in for questioning and had marijuana in his possession. That person was charged with drug crimes.

As of noon, the circumstances surrounding the victims' deaths were not released. Stay with 6 News and WJACTV.com for continuing coverage.
