PATTON, Pa. -- State police at Ebensburg have made an arrest in a burglary at a Cambria County social club.

State police said David John Patrick, 33, of Patton, allegedly broke into the Sons of Italy club on 4th Avenue in Patton.

Police said Patrick broke into the building by throwing a brick through a front window sometime between 1:15 and 2:30 a.m. on July 16.

Once inside, police said Patrick took an unknown amount on money, drank beer and soda, threw garbage on the floor and damaged several items.

Patrick allegedly smashed two bottles of liquor and broke a second window before leaving the building, police said.

Patrick was arrested and arraigned on charges Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Police charged Patrick with burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He was placed in the Cambia County prison.
