Saquon Barkley talks future, wins another major award
UNIVERSITY PARK -- Penn State running back Saquon Barkley will lead No. 9 Penn State into the Fiesta Bowl on Dec. 30. It could be his final college game, although the surefire NFL first round draft pick isn't making any announcements, yet.
Speaking with reporters in Atlanta Wednesday, Barkley said he will wait until after the bowl game to announce any future plans. The junior says he will talk with his family and coaches before deciding.
Earlier Wednesday, Barkley was named the Paul Hornung Award winner, named for the nation's most versatile player.
Barkley is a finalist for three more national awards. The Maxwell Award, Doak Walker Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year award will be given out Thursday night.
