Tomahawks Swept by Division Foe Michigan

Updated: Sunday, January 26 2014, 04:33 PM EST

By Pat Welter

Tomahawks Coach Jason Spence called it the biggest weekend of the year.  I wouldn't want to run into him tomorrow.

After splitting their series with division leading Port Huron, Johnstown came into the weekend looking to create separation from third place Michigan.  They got the opposite.

After a 2-1 loss friday and a 4-2 loss on saturday, the Tomahawks find themselves in third place.  But not to worry, they'll get their chance at redemption.  They just so happen to play Port Huron and Michigan again in their next two series.
