St. Michael's Basketball Tourney hits 46th year

JOHNSTOWN, Pa.
St. Michael's Church in Brownstown hosted their 46th Annual Pee Wee Basketball Tournament this week. The tournament started back in 1968, founded by Dick Popchak and supporting volunteers. The round robin tournament features 6 teams and opened play on Monday night, with the championship game played on Thanksgiving. St. Benedict and Our Mother of Sorrows played for the title. Grant Jeanjacquet earned tournament MVP, helping his OMOS team win the championship, 53-38.
