Bennett Back In Action At UPJ

Updated: Tuesday, January 7 2014, 08:41 PM EST

There's a familiar face at the Pitt-Johnstown Sportscenter this winter -- and Zac Bennett is hoping to make local wrestling fans remember his dominance. He won a state championship at Westmont Hilltop High School before wrestling two years at the University of North Carolina, but his time in the Tar Heel State wasn't smooth.

Now he's back in his comfort zone at UPJ. Bennett had to sit a year due to NCAA transfer rules but the 197-pound junior announced his presence last week, taking 3rd at the Franklin & Marshall Tournament. He says a big reason he's back is head coach Pat Pecora.
