Pennsylvania principal resigns, 'inappropriate action' cited

An elementary school principal in Delaware County has stepped down following what the superintendent called "inappropriate action." (MGN)

WALLINGFORD, Pa. - An elementary school principal in Delaware County has stepped down following what the superintendent called "inappropriate action."

In a letter to parents on Tuesday, the superintendent said Wallington Elementary School Principal Joshua Peterkin's action "in no way endangered or involved children.

Superintendent Lisa Palmer did not elaborate.

She says the district respects the privacy of personnel while "upholding high standards for employee behavior."
