Transformer issue causes power outage in Cambria County
UPDATE: According to Penelec's website, all power has been restored.
RICHLAND TOWNSHIP – Residents in Cambria County woke up without power Wednesday morning after a transformer blew in Richland Township.
Dispatch said it happened just before 3 a.m. near the intersection of Hostetler Road and Stoneybrooke Lane.
According to Penelec’s website, about 600 customers in the Richland area don’t have power and another 400 were affected in Geistown Borough.
The website said power is expected to be restored by 6 a.m.
