Windber man charged with robbing, assaulting another man
WINDBER -- Windber police have arrested a man who they said attacked and robbed another man.
Harry Geisel, 36, of Windber, was arraigned Wednesday morning on charges of robbery with bodily injury, aggravated assault and several other misdemeanors.
Police said Geisel attacked a man Friday at the victim's house on Third Street.
The man said he was getting ready to go to sleep when Geisel came in and started to argue with him about a phone charger.
Police said Geisel started to punch and kick him and demanded that he hand over his wallet and cellphone.
Geisel's bond was set at $100,000 and he is in the Cambria County Prison.
Police said drug charges are pending against Geisel and that others could be facing charges related to the April 14 assault.
