JOHNSTOWN – Johnstown police are continuing to investigate a weekend shooting in the Hornerstown section of the city.

Johnstown police Capt. Chad Miller said Monday that a 15-year-old female was shot twice and remains in stable condition.

Miller said multiple male juveniles were seen running from the 300 block of McMillen Street Saturday night.

The shooting took place around 7:30 p.m.

Miller said multiple shots were fired into the house. He said bullets were found at the scene and there were shell casings in the area.

No firearms or drugs were recovered and no one has been charged, Miller said.

Miller said he believes Saturday’s shooting may be connected to other shootings in the area at the end of last year.
